Mridu is a Sanskrit word that means gentle. Gentle stimulation in the early years fires up neural connections, improves cognitive abilities, fosters social skills- all while calming and regulating the nervous system.

Mounika Kuraparthy
Founder & Director
Mounika is a passionate educator who strongly believes in the magic of quality early childhood education. She started her career as a software engineer but quickly realised that her heart lies elsewhere. She ventured into education with the Teach For India Fellowship, teaching at the grassroots level. Post that she worked with multiple non-profits and education startups in curriculum creation and teacher training. During this time she witnessed the lasting impact of appropriate care and education during a child’s early years. Mounika has started Mridu to bring the best early years education practices to the children in her school.
Deepa Bisht
Head Teacher
Deepa has over 9 years of experience in IB EYP, inquiry-based learning and teaching phonics. Her qualifications are wide-ranging. She holds a PG Diploma in International & Early Childhood Education, along with CICTT (Cambridge Certificate) and a background in psychology. Rooted in IB values, she creates joyful, globally minded classrooms where curiosity leads the way.
Shaik Fameen
Teacher
With 4+ years of experience in Early Education, Fameen brings together Montessori methods, storytelling and music to spark curiosity and joy. She is certified in Early Childhood Education and holds a diploma in Carnatic music vocals which she joyfully integrates into her sessions. Everyday she creates a space where children feel safe, seen and inspired.
